The purpose of our kids ministry

Verse:

Deuteronomy 11:19 “And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”

Vision:

Living and teaching the Gospel in practical ways & partnering with parents to rear fully devoted followers of Christ

Mission: Engagement

1. By engaging with the kids during Sunday worship by worshipping together as a family.

2. By engaging through practical lessons & games to produce in them a desire to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus. 

3. By partnering with the parents through weekly communication through texting and our private social media groups:

- providing talk sheets to support the parents in discipling their kids through the week. 

Why we do this…

We know that the parents are the biggest influencer in their child’s life. So we come along side the parents to…

1. Bring support to our families

2. Connect with the family as a whole in discipling their kid/s

3. Provide them with talk sheets and tools to help them along their life journey. 

What this looks like…

Every Sunday at 10:45, you will enjoy a small family atmosphere where kids are welcome in our services to worship Jesus and desire a personal relationship with Him. After the worship time, the kids are dismissed, kindergarten -5th grade, to go to the back to learn how to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus in today’s world with games that enforce the vision.  

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week, and at iBaptist, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. The first time that you visit, one of our kid leaders will meet with you and show you where each kid will be after worship.

Kids check in process…

1. Text 317-358-7331, your name, child's name, any allergies or other concerns.

2. After the service is over, we will bring your children back to you.
